Tornai Selection Apátsági Furmint 2021

A single-vineyard wine from the Apátsági vineyard, located on the south-eastern side of Somló Hill. An exciting example of a fine Furmint, this is a wine with great ageing potential. Its main virtue is that it manages to be a rich wine while already exhibiting harmony and elegance. It’s worth laying it down for years; it ages well in the bottle. Clean pale golden colour with high viscosity. The intense nose is full of warm spices and ripe pear. Vanilla honey and dried flowers with herbal notes. The fully balanced palate has a mineral style and moderate acidity.
